Sensei Ed Martin is the chief instructor for the Iron Mountain Karate Club, and is assisted by his Senpai Michael Martin. The Zentokukai is very proud to have Ed Martin as a member Sensei for he truly cares about his community and is a dedicated and very talented martial artist.

The "Iron Mountain Karate Club", began with "Safe Kids American Program"(A Private National Organization), teaching children self-defense techniques as well as personal safety in such areas as: Fire Safety, Water Safety, Drug Awareness, and a general sense of children's safety and well being.

After a year and a half of working with the "Kid's" program, many children as well as adults were interested in pursuing an understanding of martial arts which instructor Ed Martin had taken part in for most of his adult life. In the later part of 1998, Ed established the "Iron Mountain Karate Club", to share his knowledge of the Sukunai Hayashi, Shorin Ryu Karate Style.
